Last year while online shopping from the comfort of my home in loungewear, I was on the hunt for a new fall + winter jacket. I remember clicking on a site + seeing that under the “jackets” category, there was a new subset: “shackets.” Then I went to the next site, it was there too + the next + the next + the next . . . you get it, they where everywhere!
A “shacket”, aka a shirt jacket is heavier than a shirt, but not quite as heavy as a jacket. While many of us probably could deem a few pieces in out closets as one, we have rebranded this concept making it one of the most sought-after pieces of 2021.
You can literally wear a shacket for all seasons + temperatures. If its winter, layer it with a sweater. Spring? with a long sleeve or short sleeve tee. Summer? we all have a few chill nights when a tank top won’t fully make the cut. Fall? you’ll know the drill by then + be in love with this new fashion statement.
