If you’ve been following me for a while now, you know how much I’ve come to love the concept of a capsule wardrobe— it’s basically creating a closet full of items that can be mixed + matched with one another for an infinite amount of outfits.
With 4th of July around the corner, that means one thing . . . Summer mode is in FULL effect. Since last Summer was still little iffy for gatherings + the usually Summer plans BUT, I have high hopes for this summer – full of more lake days, outdoor movie nights, and barbecues than last year—which means I gotta rememberer how to get dressed again 😉.
Thankfully looking good + being ready doesn’t have to be a math problem or rocket science with a capsule wardrobe, you can rely on classic pieces to dress up or down making them appropriate for any + all occasions.
When it comes to creating a capsule wardrobe, I tend to splurge on the items little more since these basics I will know I will own for years to come – jeans, white t-shirts, button downs, etc. If it’s an item on the trendy side + more likely to last only a summer, I’m all for saving a penny. All + all, the capsule wardrobe I have put together is a combination of items on both ends of the price scale – leaving you with the best of the best, quality + price wise.
