Jon + I had a little red sofa in our bedroom when we were first married. But five years + three kids later, that sweet little couch was replaced with a baby crib long ago. Thanks to Jonathan Louis Furniture, we’ve taken our master bedroom back to its roots + brightened it back up a bit for Spring! Hashtag: Oh Happy Freakin’ Day! Our new couch makes me smile so big every time I see it. We’ve already made a plethora of memories in our new little nook.

JON: discard child pile during after-work wrestles
GING: played ‘get to know your leaders’ with the sweet young women.
JONAH: learning how to tie his shoes here
RIGG: calling every front flip he does a back flip | far left cushion is hiding place of choice
JACK: propped up in the corner with his legs crossed just hanging out #likeaboss
I love that we don’t have a TV in our room anymore, it leaves more time for play. Please please please bless Rigg never grows out of his camera/picture taking obsession. He takes it very seriously.

Last week was a doooooozy.
Today was just the breath of fresh air I needed to keep going, the Perfect Family Sunday.

Jon + I had a special date night last week at the Jazz game!! They played The Pelicans + we are pretty much stillll smiling! Might be for different reasons….. but still smiling nonetheless! HA! Read on….
Larry H Miller Lexus Lindon asked me to be The Co-Captain at game + I was thrilllled! AS WAS JON, if you can imagine. Aside from my dad —I don’t know many bigger Jazz fans than him. They rolled out the red carpet for us + made it a night we won’t ever forget.

Last week the temps hit 50 degrees. Naturally, I boxed up the snow gear + put it back into the giant tub in the attic. Then came the weekend. RAIN, RAIN, RAIN, + SNOW. Woof.
