How about that time last Friday I couldn’t wait for Jon to get home to show him Jack’s new Llama costume + he couldn’t wait to get home to show Rigg his new 4 wheeler!!

He surprised all of us.

I would have blown the cover for sure, so it’s best he didn’t tell ANY of us. HA!

We weren’t planning on going camping, but we couldn’t help it.

The mountains were calling. NATURALLY.

Truly my happiest place.

Here’s the deal.

We rode together all morning, no one got hurt.

Not even a minute after Jon let Rigg take the reigns,

Jonah came back down on his motorcycle in panic.

“Rigg CRASHED. RIGG FELL OFF THE CLIFF.”

Those are words you don’t want to hear. He was scared. We were scared. He was brave. Then there’s Jack. How about that time last Friday I couldn’t wait for Jon to get home to show him Jack’s new Llama costume + he couldn’t wait to get home to show Rigg his new 4 wheeler!! He surprised all of us.
EVER.

I’ll never forget that feeling of my heart falling out of my chest in sheer panic as Jon hopped on his motorcycle to go help!

I’ll keep a long story short — luckily all ended well.

Another blaring reminder for me this week not to take my loved ones for granted.

We didn’t think to take a photo of him in the river,

it was intense up until we could come to grips with the fact that he was okay.

Big GRATEFUL prayers.

Life sure is fragile!

He’s still kinda a lightweight.

He super obsessed with the boys’s toys,

but falls asleep almost instantly when he finally gets his turn to ride.

Jonah pledged to no screen time at school this week.

The boys are using their imaginations like I’ve never seen.

WHO KNEW!? I’ve read the statistics,

but seeing it stopped cold turkey has been the world of difference.

I try hard to limit TV time in our home,

but seeing this much a difference — in their relationship especially,

really makes me want to get rid of it foreverrrrr.
