Valentine’s Day this year was pretty memorable. I’ve learned that the more I invest in this little family of mine, the happier I am with life. Motherhood without regrets. Wife life # 1. The rest starts to fall away + I genuinely enjoy the way it feels at the end of the day. It’s more important for me to live a life that feels good on the inside, before it looks good on the outside!

For the most part, we went through the motions on Valentine’s Day this year. We bummed around in our jams until Pilate’s. And then in typical Ginger fashion — we waited until the day of to pick out Valentine’s for each other. Nothing like the suspense of being late before you kick it into gear. (eyeroll) We found a few little things here + there as we finished up or normal errands. We snagged a heart shape Papa Murphy’s pizza crust on the way home to DIY a homemade pizza for dinner.

I surprised Jon with a day date. If you know him, you know there is nothing he loves more than a good massage. Couple’s Massage it was!

Confession: we had three massages in one day while in Peru. It was fun to go back to The Sanctuary. I did hair at the Salon there before Jonah was born.

I haven’t always loved Papa Murphy’s pizza sauce, so we grabbed the pizza fix-ins at the grocery store (that I forgot earlier in the day) on our way home. But PM’s frosted cinnamon desert pizza thing? THE REAL DEAL! I’ll give you your money back if you go try it + don’t like it. HA! Drool worthy no doubt!
