{"id":3302,"date":"2012-09-24T02:37:00","date_gmt":"2012-09-24T09:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theparrishplace.com\/the-vegas-gun-show\/"},"modified":"2020-08-25T09:25:49","modified_gmt":"2020-08-25T16:25:49","slug":"the-vegas-gun-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theparrishplace.com\/the-vegas-gun-show\/","title":{"rendered":"the vegas gun show"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theparrishplace.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/stripes_zps3c5349fc.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theparrishplace.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/vegasblog_zpsde76ef8e.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theparrishplace.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/roadtrippinwithdad.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nwas last weekend.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>how it has already been one week since then is beyond me.<\/p>\n<div>someone please make time slow down.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>for the love!<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"more\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>our game plan was to leave SLC at <i>12:15.<\/i><br \/>\nsometimes people underestimate how much longer &#8216;things&#8217; take with a one year old.<br \/>\nmy grocery + to do list were a hot mess to say the least.<br \/>\nky | \u00a0chad | \u00a0jon | \u00a0ging \u00a0| \u00a0jonah, along with his lazy boy convertible car seat + two tv&#8217;s<br \/>\nwere southbound on the freeway around\u00a0<i>4:45.<\/i><br \/>\nonly 4 1\/2 hours late.<br \/>\nevery time we go, i find myself wishing vegas was a two hour drive rather than 6.<br \/>\nmagic genie where art thou?<\/p>\n<p>i could spend every single day with britt + greg and never tire of them.<br \/>\njon calls them our &#8220;besty&#8217;s&#8221;<br \/>\nthere is not a more fitting name for them.<br \/>\nwe love the same <i>everything<\/i>.<br \/>\nmovies, clothes, food, homes, jokes, treats, stores, etc.<br \/>\nwe have the same taste in\u00a0e v e r y t h i n g. literally.<\/p>\n<p>britt &#8211; &#8211; i love that girl.<br \/>\nshe is my favorite best friend and second cousin in the world.<br \/>\n90% of the time we see eachother we are wearing the same outfit.<br \/>\nour pinterest boards are identical.<br \/>\nher house is to die for, and her crafting talents are\u00a0indescribable.<br \/>\nshe is expecting her first little one in feburary + i can hardly wait.<\/p>\n<p>while we were there she set up the cutest little party for jone.<br \/>\nit included all of <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">his<\/span>\u00a0our\u00a0favorite things.<br \/>\npolka dot balloons, banners, golfclubs, cupcakes, the whole shebang.<br \/>\ndarling as pie + i wish i had pictures to prove it.<\/p>\n<p>i was off my phototaking rocker. i took a total of 15 photos the entire trip.<br \/>\nyou are looking at the 4 of them that came back somewhat clear.<br \/>\ni was experimenting with my camera settings on the way down<br \/>\nand for whatever reason the pictures turned out horrific.<br \/>\nthe trip was incredible, nonetheless.<\/p>\n<p>thanks g, b and baby m for the amazing weekend.<br \/>\nsee you again in a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">was last weekend. how it has already been one week since then is beyond me. someone please make time slow down. for the love!
