Next up in #theparrishplace series, we’re talking doors! They’re probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you picture your dream home, but they’re a detail I think you should be intentional with. Luckily, there is no shortage of inspiration out there for doors. swooooooning!

Our home design is more modern + we really wanted the doors to compliment that theme. We have a few fun spaces we’re adding to our home, such as a studio + we’re thinking glass doors will be the perfect fit – what do you think?!

Building a home is not cheap + you really want to be wise with where you’re investing. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that hiring a team to help is worth every penny. We ended up saving $15,000 on just the doors alone thanks to Elizabeth Hales Design.

I’m not naturally a decision maker + if you’ve ever built a home you know there are A LOT of decisions – I mean the door choices alone – kinda-sorta-reallllly overwhelming. I’ve been so grateful for our team we have behind our build, they have each made the decision process so much easier, saved us money + listened to us every step of the way.
