Long story short, Jon&#8217;s passport was expiring in 60 days. Come to find out, you have to be no shorter than 90 days from expiring to get in! He didn&#8217;t even want to ask me to do it, the sweet gate lady told me. And those words haunted me, but instead of going home to cry &#8211; &#8211; &#8211; like I thought I had wanted to in that very moment, we grabbed the bags + the kids + with tears in my eyes, we bravely headed on our first flight to Paris. They let him through security to help us get on, but saying goodbye wasn&#8217;t easy!<\/p>\n<p>Basically my worst nightmare a 20 hour plane flight with kids alone.
