What kind of camera do you use?<\/h2>\n

I shoot with a\u00a0<\/span>Cannon 5d\u00a0mark ii.<\/a>\u00a0The majority of the time with\u00a0this<\/a> 50mm lens or my 35mm<\/a>. I like fixed lenses.<\/p>\n

How do you edit your pictures for your blog?<\/h2>\n

I edit in Photoshop LightRoom + on my phone with VSCO presets!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What are your favorite photo editing apps?<\/h2>\n

VSCO takes the cake, but I am working on some presets. For now, if you want to know exactly how I edit my photos, you’ll find a step by step guide in my e-book right HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What shade of lipstick are you wearing?<\/h2>\n

I’m a sucker for anything made by FRESH. It’s like a tinted chapstick so it’s moisturizing + doesn’t get all up on your grill. AKA your two front teeth. Here are a couple posts with my go to shades. 1 | 2 | 3\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Where do you shop for boys?<\/h2>\n

A little bit here, there + everywhere along the way. A few favorite stops are:\u00a0Zara<\/a>,\u00a0Target<\/a>, Nortstrom<\/a> +\u00a0Peek Kids<\/a>. Can I hire you to take our family photos<\/b>?<\/h2>\n

I often wish the answer were yes. But unfortunately this season of life is focused solely on raising my family + being a mother so I am not taking any clients at this time. Sorry!<\/p>\n

Any recommendations for family photos?<\/h2>\n

We recommend Sami Jo Photography.<\/a> And by we I mean Jon, Jonah, Riggins + myself! She has become such a dear friend but her talent is unmatched in our opinion. Honest to goodness, she is a complete ray of sunshine. I searched + searched + searched for the perfect gold watch. I found it with the help from a stranger in an elevator who was wearing it so I’m happy to pay the tip forward anytime someone asks — \u00a0It’s the Nixon Cannon<\/a>. Yes, all four of my sisters + my mom have the exact same one. It’s simple, timeless (oxymoron, ha) not blingy + really goes with everrrrythang. Men’s section for the win!<\/p>\n

Where do you find all of your hats?<\/h2>\n

Any advice on building a following on social media?<\/h2>\n

Be YOURSELF! Believe in yourself! I think it’s important to establish a strong support system in real life (separate from virtual life) that you trust whole-heartedly with your strengths + weakness so that they can remind you or pick up the slack at any given time if things get a little crazy online. Set weekly goals that are attainable. Do what you love! Not what you think everyone wants to see or read. Passion is contagious in every shape + form. Figure out who you are, what your mission is, why you love the specific social media outlets you share on + write it all down! You’ll recognize growth if you’re not obsessed with it. Fill your time with productive stuff + work your tail off to produce your best work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
