did you see my Instagram post about how I pack? not this time, I was packed before midnight!!
I usually get lots of questions about what i wore / packed, so thought I’d try to get ahead of the game + post my packing list here!
- Thank you for all the recommendations for vertigo, feeling confident going onto the plane. I am currently using on guard + lavender oil like so many of you suggested. YOU NEVER LET ME DOWN!
- First thing I packed, my self tanning machine. #crazysunscreenlady It always goes with me! I also love that St Tropez has a travel sized tanning mousse.
- We decided to snag a GoPro before this trip so we could have a camera on our hikes + out in the ocean. So stoked to see the memories we’ll capture. Buuuut, DON’T FORGET the floaty. A coworker of Jon’s lost his in the ocean.
- Hit the dollar store or dollar store section at target before you go to get the kids some new toys, coloring pages, etc. for the plane! I always love to bring these sticker books + this colored pencil pack from amazon as well.
- Can’t forget treats! We stocked up on our favorite gummy bears. I stash all the boys treats in individual baggies so they take up less space.
- I can’t wait to try out my new Lily Jade camera bag. This is the camera I use.
- Trying out some new packing cubes. I love that these were a neutral color. So far I love them + they store in ONE bag . . . soooo small.
- I don’t even know what I did before air pods. Seriously so, so nice on the plane. I can help all the kids, while still listening + not worry about the cords. GAME CHANGER! If you’re heading on a beach trip I’d recommend snagging this waterproof case.
- Snagged a new self timer for pictures.
- We always pack up our Gathre mat on beach trips. Soooo nice for keeping the sand off our towels. I brought our circle mat this time.
- Our favorite stroller to travel with. It folds up soooooo small.
- I never leave for a trip without this chapstick. adds colors to your lips, but also provides SPF. I love the Berry color.
- Gigi Pip is getting some new scrunchies, but since they’re not here yet, I snagged one from Free People. Makes throwing your hair up at the beach or pool super easy.
- Gigi Pip sunglasses, hats + straw bags are always at the top of my list. stay tuned for some sneak peeks of our new straw bags!
- Gamma got all the kids matching Walker Family Goods backpacks. Crying about how cute they all look carrying their bags.
- We brought Jack’s car seat on the plane. We know he sleeps so good in it, so it was a guaranteed nap on a long fight.
- Sooo excited about our new Tubby Todd sunscreen!!
- Last time we were in Hawaii, we all got fevers. WORST THING EVER. This time, mama brought a thermostat. Ain’t no chancing that again.

I always like to find shorter more fitted swim shorts for the boys. I also am all about easy shoes they can slide on themselves + rashguards so we don’t have to stress as much about reapplying sunscreen when the boys are having fun!
JONS SUITCASE
Jon could easily pack in a backpack where I could bring 3 suitcases, so I’d say we balance each other out.
One time we were in Hawaii, we had some things stollen from our car. Jon was most worried about his sandals. We had to frantically order some new $7 sandals for him. Still laughing about it. Biggest things on Jon’s list are swimsuit, rashguards (also a crazy sunscreen person) + swimsuits.
ALL THE RANDOM STUFF
