skirting.

so, i am currently obsessed with a few things ::
summer, jonah’s laugh, jonah’s bear crawl, (lets be honest :: all things jonah) my family, sleeping with the windows open, my sister and her mister living two floors down, liberty park, shellac, dresses, otterpops, walks, taking naps, driving my new mom car, organizing,
and skirts.
i can not get enough skirt in my life.
i have never been the biggest fan of shorts. whether its not being able to find the right length to flatter my no booty self, or how they ride up the “you know what” when i walk. but skirts. skirts just flow. with everything. dressed up or down. having ky’s closet here makes skirting much more adventuresome because this is a craze that we both love. talk about combining forces at half the price. technically it’s both skirts and dresses, but for today, just skirts. the longer the better. i can sit indian style and read with jonah no prob. i can run bike skip and jump. really they are the complete solution to this ongoing bad relationship with my shorts. and this little collection all being under $30 (most under $20) satisfies my checkbook quite nicely. and that is how i like to roll. to save my pennies for more exciting summer adventures that i can wear a skirt to. thanks forever21. not only for keeping us forever21 but also for saving us our 21 pennies.
