SETTING A HIGHER STANDARD OF SCENT IN OUR HOME

In 2019 I took a deep dive into studying the chemicals that are allllll around us – whoa! I’ve slowly tried changing things in our home. Doing a huge overhaul seemed wasteful + overwhelming – so I’ve been taking it a few steps at a time to weed out the bad + transition to better! I am excited to help raise awareness + partner with cleaner brands in 2020!

Although we may not be able to control the air outside our home (thanks for nothing craaazy Utah air 🙂 but I do feel responsible for what we’re breathing inside our home! I am a candle snob by nature, buuuuut have been seeking out options that aren’t filled with unnecessary phthalates or dyes. BE PICKY FRIENDS!!

We’ve been trying out the new BOTANICA by Airwick line! They are setting a new standard in the home fragrance industry. All fragrances are made with exotic, natural ingredients, offering high-quality air care products inspired by nature – no phthalates or dyes!! The Caribbean Sweetgrass & Sandalwood is my favorite!

They’re sourced + packaged in a way that respects our planet!

I’ve had the Caribbean Sweetgrass and Sandalwood scent diffusing in our living room + have been super pleased with it. We get compliments whenever people come over + I love jumping on the opportunity to share what I’ve learned with anyone who will listen. 🙂 I’ve heard great things about the Fresh Pineapple & Tunisian Rosemary, as well as French Lavender & Honey Blossom and Himalayan Magnolia & Vanilla – – – they are on my to try list! They’re all available in room sprays, plug ins + reeds / candles. You’ll be able to find select products at TARGET + WALMART!

I’d encourage you to take note of the things you’re using around your home! I had a follower reach out a couple of years ago when her dad passed away – they are thinking it is directly tied to the scents/candles they always had burning in their home. Absolutely heartbreaking! Awareness is key though. Let me know if you have any questions – – I am open book to the things I’ve learned.
