never forgotten

often, when i lug my big camera down to something “unimportant”, jon jokes that if we don’t get a picture – it didn’t really happen.
whomp whomp whomp.
he’s since learned that everything is important.
+ i’ve learned that those dang words creep into my mind all too often when it comes to blogging.
like, if i don’t post the pictures, all those adventures never happened.
wrong!
but right for anyone who wasn’t there with us, ya know?
all i know is that i like remembering everything + i like taking pictures.
being a new year + all, here i am in catch up mode. soooo consider yourself warned. or something.
oh + hey, you’re welcome for remembering to include you in this day full of pumpkin stealing + temper tantrums.

  1. I completely get it! Our lives are fully documented (probably too much) because I know one day we all (including our baby) will want to look back at what we were doing that year/day. 🙂 xo

  2. haha I’m the same way – sometimes i feel like i just have to snap pictures constantly. not always the best thing for me – i’ve had to make myself leave the camera at home sometimes. but it’s always fun cathcing cute little things like this.

  3. I often feel that way too, like if I don’t capture it, it didn’t happen! It’s funny how some images you take now, seem so meaningless. But 20 years from now it might be a photo you treasure most! I really enjoyed this post Ginger, and am completely obsessed with your blog. 🙂
