It’s been a WILD few weeks to say the least. We flew to Hawaii with my fam + cut out a few days early to head straight from Hawaii to China. But we had to come back to Seattle, then to LA first. WOOOF. Still not sure how that math worked out. We’re pretty dang tired, but soooo grateful for the memories we’ve made together!
though it might be fun to round up some of my favorite travel items for list of loves this week:
- yeti tumbler to keep my water ice cold! I usually bring it along in my suitcase if we’re traveling to an airbnb.
- our favorite sunscreen to use + we brought this one for the boys.
- these neutral colored packing cubes.
- hard suitcases for the whole family.
- CAMERA!! we also bring a self timer remote + sometimes the polaroid — the boys love taking pictures to add into their photo books.
- i usually wear my running shoes while traveling so it takes the bulk out of my suitcase. that way i have them for working out while traveling.
- walker family goods backpacks for all the kids from grandma!
- our favorite travel treats.
- hair clips + hair ties. never, ever leaving the house without them again. Madewell just got this one + adding it to my cart rn.
- loopy case so I don’t have to worry about dropping my phone. I may have left it on the airplane — which got miraculously got returned, but filmed while holding it off the boat scanning the hong kong skyline + didn’t drop it. use code: GINGER10 for 10% off.
- no secret i love wearing hats everywhere, especially while traveling.
- i broke in this Lily Jade camera/diaper bag + LOVED it! for sure would recommend.
- beach bag if you’re going on a beach trip! i found a fun new one in a little Chinese market, i’ll show you on stories.
- jumpsuits — easy outfit to throw on or traveling in. I got this one for under $40. sold out quick, here are a few other simple options:
- activities for the boys for travel days + in the hotel. we always bring this case of colored pencils, super easy to pack.
- favorite colored chapstick to bring on the go, it has SPF.
- spray tan machine that I bring on the go (packs super small) + converted all my sisters this trip. order this shower cap + the entire machine fits inside of it to travel with.
- airpods. these are a game changer while traveling (+ at the gym)
- comfy leggings, especially for long flights.
- blue light glasses for working or watching movies.
Never thought the day would come that I would turn down a sponsorship with Disney World. We were suppposedto go this weekend, but I just couldn’t handle another flight. Needing some time to regroup + carry on with life here at home. AKA BUILD A HOUSE! How’s that for a humble brag-fest?
