i’ve recently re-listened to i am a mother
by Jane Clayson.
my mom gave it to me for mother’s day.
it does not get old no matter how many times i listen to it.
i highly recommend every mom female get a copy.

coming from someone who //
hasn’t watched a dvd that i own more than two times,
can’t finish a book before starting a new one,
can’t finish a book before starting a new one,
and changes my outfit once by three o’clock on a good day,
this is a p o w e r f u l book.
i crave newness. that fresh crisp air. that change.
(or just get bored really easy)
and this book always gives that to me.
there always seems to be that one item of business that i’m particularly struggling with,
or a question stuck in my mind.
and with this book, the answer stands out like a sore thumb.
every single time.
POWER, people. i tell ya what.

it just down right tugs at all my deepest heart strings.
do you have a book like this in your life? i’m genuinely curious. do share!

i love being a mother
i am very grateful that jon works hard hard hard
so that i can stay at home
and be a full time ma’ to our little family.
I listened to that every day before work, during lunch, and after work before Collins came. It always made me cry and I remember having to pull myself together before going back into work. Isn’t it sooo inspiring!? Fist-pump for all the mamma’s out there. Oh ye-ah
