I don’t decorate for holidays for the most part,
but i love finding thoughtful gifts for the boys that I know they’ll love.
Thoughtful does not always mean expensive. FUN FACT: when Jon + I were first dating/married our one requirement for gifts were they had to be homemade. Not sure what happened. Kids? Lazy?

But, don’t get overwhelmed with all the THINGS. It doesn’t take much to impress kids! Choose a couple things + master them. I love thoughtful gifts vs. expensive gifts + my kids do too. Kids can feel our joy, or so I remember feeling this way about my sweet mother.

Growing up our Easter bunny hid our baskets. We had to find them in the morning . . . my parents did this until high school. It was a tradition + it was magical for us kids. Trying to create the same environment for my own kids around holidays! I love these ideas for each holiday from Brooke Romney.

I wanted to share a few my favorite things I found while scrolling for the boys Easter baskets.
BASKETS:
When it comes to Easter baskets, I love finding something that is reusable. It won’t just sit in storage, waiting around for another year. You can get creative, this could be a toy storage, fruit basket, purse, stroller, picnic basket, wheelbarrow. We’re going to be using nutcase helmets for the boys this year.
GOODIES:
Here are a few ideas to fill your kid’s baskets! I’m making sure to include a Cuddle + Kind stuffy in all my kids baskets this year. Not only do I love supporting small, but the mission behind this brand is the real freaking deal!
BOOKS:
Hands down my favorite thing to buy the boys . . . BOOKS! I shared a collection of all our favorite children’s books here, but thought I’d share a few new ones we’ve been loving.
CANDY:
Y’alll know that we’re a candy family. Gummies, sweets + sour. We’ll leave all the cadbury + tootsie eggs to you all.
OTHER:
I’m hoping to share some of our families favorite Easter activities soon, but here are a few things I’ve found from painting eggs to poppers!
