My sister text me this morning + asked how camping was + I wasn’t even sure where to start. Something truly magical about being in Nature, disconnected from the outside world + reconnected with the ones who mean the absolute most to me!!! Just look at these cute dirty mugs. 🙂 There was a lantern fest that we dabbled with the thought of going (we didn’t end up doing it) but the thought lead us up in the canyon near Tooele. They Canyon is called North Willow! It was easy to access + the campsites were tucked in off the road with quite a bit of privacy. The river was just deep enough that I wasn’t worried about the boys playing in it.
I LOVE CAMPING, you know this. Did you also know I’m OBSESSED with pajamas? Like real talk, the SECOND Hanna Andersson came out with their summer prints they were shipping to our house. I like matching, I like letting them pick. The quality of HA simply can’t be topped. If you’ve tried them, you know what I mean. Coming from a family with 4 girls, we didn’t camp a whole ton when I was little.
No falls off of cliffs this time, thank heavens.
We got their motorcycle gear 2 summers ago + they are starting to outgrow it. TIME SLOW DOWN.
Blue toenails. Don’t even ask! 🙂
Are these new Hanna Andersson summer prints incredible or what?!
Rigg in the hotdogs (remind you, he’s the child who chose a ketchup bottle for his Christmas ornament last year)
Jack is the watermelon monster. He’d eat “MEHWON” for breakfast lunch + dinner if his belly could take it.
Jonah with the classic stripe.
I loved letting them choose them + seeing how much they compliment their personalities.
You’ll never meet a kid who wants people to smile more than Jack Parrish. He’s the ham of our family no doubt! Being a boy mom ain’t so bad. We forgot to bust out the starburst around the fire on Saturday Night. We had fun practicing magic tricks with them nonetheless.
Eggs for breakfast. Always eggs for breakfast. We are trying to decide where we’ll go for Memorial Day next weekend. Is there a campsite that your family enjoys?! We are hoping to explore up in Idaho, but I’ll keep you posted on which we decide!
xx
It is totally a life goal for us to have a camper like that one day! So fun!
