Back to School Outfits

PRE-K  + 2ND + 4TH grade, LETS GOOOOOO!

It blows my mind that Summer 21 has already come + gone. We realllly thought we’d be in our house by this time, but we’re just going to go ahead + bump that date back to Christmas. Hope this doesn’t jinx us! I’m beyond ready for them to be going back, but also a feeling the feels inside because I miss them already! Funny how that works! Going into this year with an open mind, thinking they’ll possibly change the plan, but for now we are 4 days a week in person!  The boys are most excited to see their friends. Last year the boys were only going in person three times a week + we did home learning on Friday’s.

We sourced outfits + backpacks from Walmart for school! They have such affordable options + are pretty much a one stop shop! I love to find simple patterns, with basic shapes so that as they continue to dress themselves in the morning. I’ve learned it boosts their confidence when I don’t just do it for them, it sets them up for success. 🙂 I had pictured them all walking to school together from our new home, but I’m not sure that this is the case. 1. our house isn’t done 2. We decided to keep Jack back until next year for kinder! Been carpooling them the last 4 years, so what’s one more at this point?!

This wonder nation tee looks sold out online in the green color, (linked similar + more at the bottom of this post) they had a whole bunch in person! Try your walmart+ app for in store pick up if you can!  I looove the faded simple tee look from Walmart + so do the boys. I typically size up in tee’s because I like to dry their clothes. Rigg is in a size 8!

Jonah has better style than I do these days. But the real key is confidence!! You can rock whatever you want if you have the confidence to back it up. I learned early that by dressing my kids – it was taking away their ability to believe in themselves. Walmart pieces make it easy for them to succeed in choosing their own outfits! They are good to mix + match to their heart desire without breaking the bank!
