The Fourth of July mayyyyyy just be my favorite holiday of the year. A day filled with fireworks, family, good food + of course the obligatory red, white, and blue—with a touch of stars and stripes if you want to reallyyyy commit to the theme.

It’s a great way to dress for summer, without having to melt in the heat. After we got off the water last year, I wore a long sleeve crewneck with a pair of lounge shorts . . . did the trick as the day turned into a breezy evening.
