YEEEEEP! It’s that time of year again. Nordstrom hosts their annual Anniversary Sale + I’m waiting for my order to arrive. I do look forward to this sale every year, but it can be intimidating – – – I’m here to break it down for you + will be posting my favorites on social for the next couple of weeks so you can shop easier. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale happens once a year + you get discounts on NEW items. You’ll get discounts on the NEW fall line at the beginning of the season, instead of having to wait until the end! Great for back to school or even stocking up on beauty favorites! *COUGH deodorant COUGH

TIPS FOR SHOPPING THE NSALE :
#1 GET A NORDSTROM CARD:
This will get you in to EARLY ACCESS, starting July 12th. They have credit + debit options available. You can shop even earlier depending on your Nordy Club status.
#2 DON’T SIT ON IT TOO LONG:
If you have ever shopped the Nordstrom sale in past years you know items go quick, like REAL quick! Luckily, Nordstrom has a killer return policy, so my mantra for the sale is, buy now + return later. I usually stock up on everything I think I might like so I don’t regret not buying a sold-out item. Were you here for the red nike saga? I missed them twice a couple years back!
If you’re unsure on sizes, get both and return whichever one doesn’t work — alternative sizes may be sold out before you figure out one doesn’t fit.
#3 SHOP ONLINE EARLY:
They did things a little differently this year + let everyone preview the sale. So hopefully you have your faves picked out + are waiting for your green light to shop!
IN SUMMARY: shop this sale as early as you can, so you don’t miss out.
#4 HIT UP THE ACCESSORIES + SHOP DESIGNER:
Brands like Vince Shoes + Ray-Ban are almost half off! I pinpointed a couple of items, including THIS COAT + these boots. I will do a splurge section with my other favorites. The last couple years there have been NO brand restrictions, so take advantage of brands that don’t usually go on sale.
#5 WORKOUT GEAR:
Nordstrom has great workout gear + athleisure wear. Which we all know is my jam the last couple of years. Great brands will be ON SALE, including Nike, Adidas, Patagnoia + Alo Yog.
#6 THINK FALL + WINTER:
Even though its summer + the last thing we want to think is fall/winter. BUT it you stock up on down jackets + sweaters now, you won’t have to pay full price later – – – these will be the items that Nordstrom will carry throughout the winter. Not to mention brands like Patagonia will have discounts! Those won’t last long so runnnnn!
#7 WHEN IN DOUBT, CALL THE STORE :
If you’re looking for an item that is sold out, sometimesss you can still find it in store. If you call your local store, they will look up the item for you. If they can find it available at another store, they will order it for you over the phone with free shipping!
